WHEN TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT TYPE?

We use chalk for weightlifting, powerlifting or gymnastics movements all the time. Chalk is essential in keeping sweat away and providing more grip. Hand grips materials such as BumbleBee and Panda have been designed to work effectively with chalk to provide excellent grip and protection. These gymnastic grips materials are the perfect choice for everyday training.

However, when venturing into the unknown, whether you are travelling or going to a competition we might not have a luxury of knowing what types of bars will be available. Even worse, will chalk be available? This is when hand grips models like Seal or Merlin come into play. Both hand grips materials work well without chalk on chalkless bars and provide maximum grip due to the rubber surface they are made from. Merlin grips can be used on varied surfaces with or without chalk.
